Free-flowing pellets, granulates and irregular bulk materials are an important part of the plastics manufacturing process. Plastics processing companies rely on the uniform supply of plastic pellets and recyclates for further processing in extrusion.
The raw granulate is an irregular, colorless and possibly translucent sample that is tested before mixing with color additives. The colored masterbatches or compounds are then also measured.
