Whiteness Index, WI

Represents a quality measure in many industrial sectors. To specify and compare the color white, standards are required that are binding in many industries, such as the sugar industry, paper, textile, automotive, printing, and paint industries. A higher WI value indicates a more intense white, while a lower value points to a colored or cloudy hue.
