For the <strong>color measurement of cereals<\/strong> with the Aeros from HunterLab, the product of a batch is filled several times into a bowl, which rotates under the <strong>eccentrically positioned sensor<\/strong> (the bowl size can be varied depending on the available sample quantity). During rotation, <strong>several measurements<\/strong> are taken <strong>in succession<\/strong> and the average value is automatically calculated. Due to the unusually <strong>large measuring surface<\/strong> that is scanned, the color of the food can be reproduced very accurately. As this non-contact measuring method is very user-friendly and the measurement results are <strong>extremely accurate and repeatable<\/strong>, HunterLab generally recommends this method for <strong>measuring cereals<\/strong>. The handling of this type of sample is straightforward, as a bowl is simply <strong>filled with the product and placed on the turntable<\/strong>. For the measurement, the bowl rotates under the sensor while the device performs <strong>35 measurements in 5 seconds<\/strong> and calculates the <strong>average value<\/strong>. This covers a <strong>surface area of 177 cm&#xB2;<\/strong> and provides an <strong>exact and repeatable<\/strong> measured value for the <a class=\"glossaryLink cmtt_Colorimetry\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hunterlab.eu\/en\/glossar\/colour\/\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">colour<\/a> of the product.<br>A comparison with intermediate measurements without a measuring flash guarantees that the measurement is insensitive to the existing ambient <a class=\"glossaryLink cmtt_Colorimetry\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hunterlab.eu\/en\/glossar\/light\/\" data-mobile-support=\"0\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">light<\/a>.
