In the chemical industry, the exact determination of the color of transparent liquids, such as solvents, resins, melted waxes or lubricating oils such as engine oil,<\/strong> is very important in development and quality management.<\/p>\n To qualify the color of petrochemicals, solvents and lubricants<\/strong>, an exact color measurement in transmission<\/a><\/strong> is the appropriate procedure. Some of these products work with internationally defined color numbers such as APHA\/PtCo\/Hazen, Gardner, Saybolt<\/strong> and others.
